USA Today bestselling author Sarah Morgan heats up the season with the O'Neil brothers in a brand-new holiday series!

Once upon a time, Christmas was Kayla Green's favorite time of year. Now all the workaholic wants for Christmas is for it to be over—as fast as possible! So when duty calls her to snowy Vermont to close a deal with a new client, Kayla is grateful for an excuse to avoid the holidays for another year.

Jackson O'Neil left a thriving business behind to return home and salvage his family's resort—it's in his blood, and he can't let it fail. Now that he's got marketing whiz Kayla Green working with him to put Snow Crystal on the map, success is on the horizon. The fact they strike enough sparks off each other to power all the Christmas lights in Vermont is just an added bonus.

Kayla might be an expert at her job, but she's out of her depth with Jackson—he makes her crave the happy-ever-after she once dreamed of, and it's terrifying. As the snowflakes continue to swirl, will the woman who doesn't believe in the magic of Christmas finally fall under its spell?

 Review:

I’ve never read a Christmas themed book before. Which isn’t really that surprising considering I am more of Halloween girl. But this book was fun, and definitely got me in the mood to stop mourning the passage of my favorite holiday and get ready for my second favorite.

The book follows Kayla after she is hired to help Jackson bring his families resort back up. I love Kayla. She is my kind of girl. Listen I like Christmas because it celebrates my family. Other than that I’ll pass on everything. Christmas music makes me want to stab myself in the eye…with a number two pencil. So reading about a character like me is always a plus. Kayla is not really down with the season. She does however find Jackson attractive. She’s a great heroine who is a bit airheaded, but also strong. It’s a great mix, and very human.

Jackson is swoony. I loved him.

The setting was beautiful. If I liked snow I would want to go there. But I live in Iowa and I think it snows way to much here. I don’t think I could handle Vermont winters. Even in a cool resort.

The writing was great. It was a quick read, it was fun, sexy, smart and funny. Overall SBitS was a great holiday read. One that I may have to read next year to get me in the mood. Or I guess I could read the next book. 😉
