Vanora’s only hope to escape her destiny and save those she loves is wrapped in a magic ritual that will not only reveal the supernatural conspiracy formed by a millennia of magic, but also unlock her secret powers.

Deep in the throes of the spell, Vanora witnesses Aeron the White and Terrible's journey from a kindhearted warrior to a deadly creature of prophecy. But the longer she spends time with him, the more dangerous the situation becomes, and Vanora must face the truth hidden in her heart and soul.

Serial Synopsis:

In Darkness We Must Abide is the epic saga of one young woman caught in the dangerous world of the creatures of the night.

Already living in the shadows due to her albinism, Vanora is just a little girl when her older brother inadvertently unleashes a terrible evil from the family crypt that changes their lives forever.

As she grows up in a world where beautiful deadly beings hunt by night, one captures her eye and her heart. Yet, can she trust the mysterious Armando? For there is a powerful entity plotting to claim her when she reaches adulthood in order to fulfill an ancient prophecy, and her enemy has enveloped her in a web of deceit, casting doubt on all she believes to be true. Soon, she will have to fight not only to save those she loves, but also for her very soul.

Rhiannon Frater delivers a chilling adventure once again with this multi-part epic serial with a dynamic cast, old school vampires, bloody action, a smoldering forbidden love, and a terrifying villain set against the backdrop of a modern day vampire war.

Okay, so seriously. Way to gut me. The story started off a little slow, telling us the story of how Aeron became the monster that he is. I wasn’t expecting to feel any kind of sympathy AT ALL for such a vicious creature, but Rhiannon has a way of painting a picture with more than one view. As the momentum grew throughout the course of the story, I felt a growing sense of unease. There are no easy answers in this series. Nothing is cut and dry. Dammit, there goes my happily ever after.

The cast of characters in this story is completely different. We join Aeron as a young boy and meet those he runs into along the way. I am so absolutely fascinated by the Oracles! The downside to this story… I really hate to tell you… is that there is no Armando. WAAAHHHHHH!!! I felt like I was cheating on him! For all of those Aeron fans, this is exactly what you’ve been waiting for! His past is enthralling, and I couldn’t have predicted any of it.

The last line held such tension. I am so desperate for the next episode! I need to brush up on my whiny voice for when I constantly harass… I mean, stalk… errr… wait patiently? *Please don’t kill Armando!!*

I am giving away one of any episode of IDWMA! If you haven’t started the series yet, now is the perfect time. You can download it —>HERE<—
