Walk the Edge - cover

One moment of recklessness will change their worlds

Smart. Responsible. That’s seventeen-year-old Breanna’s role in her large family, and heaven forbid she put a toe out of line. Until one night of shockingly un-Breanna-like behavior puts her into a vicious cyberbully’s line of fire—and brings fellow senior Thomas “Razor” Turner into her life.

Razor lives for the Reign of Terror motorcycle club, and good girls like Breanna just don’t belong. But when he learns she’s being blackmailed over a compromising picture of the two of them—a picture that turns one unexpected and beautiful moment into ugliness—he knows it’s time to step outside the rules.

And so they make a pact: he’ll help her track down her blackmailer, and in return she’ll help him seek answers to the mystery that’s haunted him—one that not even his club brothers have been willing to discuss. But the more time they spend together, the more their feelings grow. And suddenly they’re both walking the edge of discovering who they really are, what they want, and where they’re going from here.

Yes. Yes yes yes. All the yes.

If you’re a fan of Katie McGarry’s previous books, you will not be disappointed! Walk the Edge has it all! Intense chemistry, inner turmoil, and enough angst to leave you reading through the night!

Breanne was new to this series, but we’ve seen Razor before, in Nowhere But Here. This is one of my favorite parts of McGarry’s books; she gives a chance at happiness for all of the characters that you have grown to love. So now I’m SUPER excited for the third book, where Chevy and Violet will finally be able to work out the tension between them!

Once the sparks began to fly between Breanne and Razor, I was SO glad that their relationship was never called into question. They clearly belonged together, regardless of what everyone else thought. So, instead of doubting their feelings for each other, they were battling themselves, their families, their reputations and their futures… together. They gave each other strength, and it was a beautiful thing.

There is an element of real danger that runs through these Thunder Road books, that I felt was missing from the Pushing the Limits series. This revolves around the Reign of Terror motorcycle club, who (although legit) have a number of enemies. They’re gun toting, leather wearing, bad boys. And they’ll do anything to protect one of their own. That loyalty is fierce, and I can’t help but be a little envious of it. I also can’t help but feel a streak of stubborn willfulness, whenever Breanne was told No. Not allowed in the clubhouse? Not supposed to go in the house? Forget you guys, I’m gonna do whatever I want. I absolutely love that she pushed her boundaries! Maybe… just maybe… I might find the courage to push my own boundaries. I think we could all use a little more courage in our lives. 😉

And don’t miss the first book in the Thunder Road Series,
