Hide your kids! Contagious Reads is hosting an on line Book Convention dedicated to women in horror!!! I’m so excited, and nervous for this Con.

What: The Contagious Reads Horror Con
Where: Facebook (Click, and it will take you to the event page. We will post news, and nominations for the awards in there leading up to the event)
When: July 17th and 18th (But we are hoping to do a few giveaways, interviews and have a few free topics in the week leading up to the event)
Oh and there will be awards. Nominations are open!!

So what is this thing, an on line convention. Well, I wanted to do a live convention, but money, time, and travel is an issue for me, and a lot of other people. The idea of an on line convention isn’t a new one. I remember Parajunkee and the Bookish Brunette hosted a blogging one on twitter last year. It was a lot of fun.

The Contagious Reads Horror Con will last two days. We will have three panels per day (more panels might be added between now and then). Each panel will consist of several authors, and a few moderators. You can come and go as you please.

I’m super excited to be doing this and I hope you check it out!!!

TO SIGN Up to be a panelist or Moderator please use this FORM!!!

There are two different nomination forms (with a total of 17 categories), please be sure to fill both out!!! There are no time limitations on the awards, just so long as the book has been PUBLISHED. Pulled to Publish Indie books are eligible since they have been read before! A Pulled to Publish Indie book is a book that an author self-published, then was pulled to be republished by an Indie or Traditional publishing house.
